Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

A teen was robbed at gunpoint in Parkchester by three people who are now in police custody.

Police say that the 19-year-old man told police that the suspects approached him, displayed guns and forced him into his own home. Then, they took some of his belongings and escaped from the scene. The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Metropolitan Avenue and Purdy Street.

Police say the three suspects were apprehended a short time later and were taken into custody. No charges have been filed yet. The victim was not injured.
