Police say three men are dead and eight others are injured after an early morning shooting broke out at a Crown Heights lounge.

It happened around 3:27 a.m. at Taste of the City Lounge, located at 903 Franklin Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Police say the victims who died include a 25-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a man of an unknown age.

The other 8 victims, who are recovering at local hospitals, include 5 men and 3 women ranging in age from 27 to 61-years-of-age.

So far, the NYPD says they recovered 36 shell casings at the scene.

They say a gun was also recovered near Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway.
