yesterdayA 34-year-old man who was found shot early Saturday morning in front of a nail salon in Morrisania was later pronounced dead.
The victim was unconscious and unresponsive before being pronounced dead at the hospital. A 54-year-old man also suffered a graze wound to the ankle and is expected to be OK.
There was no word about any arrests or suspects.
Miguel Saeteros says he closed the salon on Boston Road around midnight. He says a bullet passed through the front window of the business, which he had to close for five months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He hopes the community can come together to end the violence for the sake of the residents and the businesses it affects.
