Bergen County prosecutors announced the arrest of four Bronx residents for an armed carjacking and robbery in New Jersey.
Emmanuel Amonte, 34, Jender A Santos Ulloa, 23, Marolyn E Mosquea Fernandez, 23 and Armando Ceuvas Sepeda, 21, are accused of stealing cash, jewelry and a car at gunpoint on Aug. 3. in Teaneck.
Court documents say the masked robbers arrived in a white Acura TLX and blocked the driveway of two Teaneck residents who had just arrived home from New York City. The pair was held at gunpoint and ordered to lie face down during the robbery.
Prosecutors say the robbers left the scene in the victims’ SUV and the Acura they arrived in, which detectives later determined was equipped with a stolen New Jersey license plate.
Santos Ulloa and Cuevas Cepeda are behind bars at Bergen County Jail, while Almonte and Mosquea Fernandez are awaiting extradition from Rikers Island. All four suspects are charged with armed carjacking, armed robbery, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
