41-year-old man stabbed during robbery on White Plains Road

A 41-year-old Bronx man was stabbed in the back multiple times and robbed, according to police. It happened inside the building lobby near 225th Street and White Plains Road on Jan. 10 around 7 a.m.

A 41-year-old Bronx man was stabbed in the back multiple times and robbed, according to police.
It happened inside the building lobby near 225th Street and White Plains Road on Jan. 10 around 7 a.m. 
Police say the victim was approached by a man who demanded his wallet. The victim began to hand over his wallet when police say the suspect stabbed him multiple times with a knife, then ran away.
The man was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he was treated and later released. 
Police believe the suspect is connected to several other robberies. They say he approached a woman and threatened her with a knife before demanding her wallet and pushing her down into the snow.
Police say suspect is described as a male black, approximately 30 years old, 5'7" tall, 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black and blue hooded jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.
