The officers at the 42nd Precinct are preparing for their second annual haunted house event scheduled for Halloween night.
Last year's haunted house had over 3,000 participants.
This year, the precinct says they're expecting more to come.
"The precinct is not something you avoid, it is a place that you come for refuge, for help because we are always here to serve our community," says Ernest Morales III, a commanding officer at the 42nd Precinct.
The event is free to the public and will be held from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 31.
