Dozens of tenants were evacuated from an apartment building after a five-alarm fire broke out inside Wednesday, officials say.
The fire started inside of 1920 Walton Ave. near E.177th Street around 6:30 a.m. in the Mount Hope section of the Bronx.
At least 200 firefighters responded to the blaze, which broke out on the sixth floor of the building.
Fire officials say three firefighters suffered smoke inhalation while fighting the blaze, but their injuries are minor and they are expected to be OK.
Officials say no tenants were injured, and they are investigating the cause of the fire.
