Some vaccination sites in the city will offer walk-in appointments to New Yorkers starting Friday.
Five sites will accept walk-ins for New Yorkers 60 or older, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday.
The five sites include, Medgar Evers in Brooklyn, Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, the Javits Center in Manhattan, York College, and the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens.
The goal is to make the vaccine more easily accessible to older residents.
There will be 16 walk-ins throughout the state.
Officials say you will still need proof of identity, insurance information and any other applicable paperwork.
While walk-ins will be available, you may still have to wait on line if demand is high.
