5 shot during violent night in the Bronx

One of the shootings took place in Morrisania on 171st Street and Washington Avenue. News 12 was told that there was dispute in the street just before midnight that resulted in gunfire.

At least five people were shot late Saturday night into Sunday morning in the Bronx.
One of the shootings took place in Morrisania on 171st Street and Washington Avenue. News 12 was told that there was dispute in the street just before midnight that resulted in gunfire.
Police say a 23-year-old was shot in the shoulder, an 18-year-old was shot in his leg and a 19-year-old was shot in both his legs.
About three hours later, a drive-by shooting was reported in Norwood where a 21-year-old was shot in the torso and right ear. A 19-year-old was shot in the back and right arm.
All of the victims were taken to nearby hospitals. So far, police have not arrested anyone in connection to these shootings.
Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
