52nd Precinct cracks down on music blasting in Norwood after complaints
After over 49 complaints to 311 in one month, Norwood
residents will have quieter streets thanks to efforts from the 52nd Precinct.
Police tweeted out a photo of over a dozen speakers that
were confiscated in the neighborhood, and a price check shows that one of the
speakers is worth at least $600.
NYPD
told News 12 that the lot was seized over a two-week period. Owners can get their speakers back from police
after the summonses have been adjudicated in court.
