Seven people were hospitalized in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon off of the Bronx River Parkway, fire officials say.
It happened on the Gun Hill Road exit ramp shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Fire officials say one of the vehicles involved flipped over onto a guard rail, and at least two people had to be extricated from their vehicles.
Three people suffered serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and four others suffered minor injuries.
All of the injured occupants were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
