The Yankees celebrated their 77th Old-Timers' Day at The Stadium on Saturday – and honored the 25th anniversary of the 2000 World Series championship team.
This is the first Old-Timers' Day since 2019 where fans can watch a game played by Yankees greats, including Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams and Andy Pettitte.
News 12 spoke to excited fans in the stadium about the nostalgic atmosphere.
The day was extra special for fans because the Yankees edged out a 5-4 victory over the Astros after the Old-Timer’s Day celebration.
