AAA says a surge in potholes after January's historic blizzard led to a rise in flat tire calls.
A tow truck driver at Nor-Bay Service Station, an AAA-approved repair center, says he dealt with almost a half-dozen flat-tire calls in a row Wednesday.
Officials say just under a third of all calls to AAA recently were about the issue.
Despite the surge, officials say there have so far been less reported flat tires this year than in 2015.
