Seniors at the Academy of Mount St. Ursula participated in an annual ring ceremony to celebrate all their accomplishments before the students graduate in the spring.
This is the 65th year the school is hosting the celebration. Students gathered at Poe Park to skate, scooter, bike, or walk to their school on Bedford Park Boulevard.
The tradition ends with a ring and award ceremony at the school. Educators say this experience gives students the tools and recognition needed to help them start their next chapters after graduation.
Family members and alumni joined students to celebrate the day and echo the importance of community and celebration.
