Residents and community leaders are expected to gather at Foley Square in reaction to the recent Supreme Court's decision regarding climate control.
The Supreme Court ruling will limit EPA's regulation of carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.
Activists are asking for Gov. Kathy Hochul to enact climate policies such as the Build Public Renewables Act, the Electric Buildings Act and a wealth tax to fund climate action and job creation.
President Joe Biden said his legal team with working with the Department of Justice to review this decision and find ways to protect Americans from harmful pollution.
