A group of activists marched through the borough Saturday to protest domestic violence.
They say women and men can be secretly dealing with domestic violence. Some don't survive it.
The 15th annual Gladys Ricart and Victims of Domestic Violence Memorial Walk kicked off at Monroe College.
The march is named for Gladys Ricart, a woman who was shot and killed on her wedding day by her former boyfriend.
Many of the women marching wore wedding dresses to make the statement visible.
The path ended at the Grand Concourse.
