8h agoMajor Eric Adams joined other city officials in Inwood for a street renaming in honor of a fallen officer on Saturday.
The corner of 20th Street and Sherman Avenue has been renamed “Jason Rivera Way.”
"You would think as time goes by the pain and grief shrink, but the truth is you learn to grow around the grief," said Dominique Rivera, Jason's wife. "And because of that, I can stand in front of all of you today filled with so much joy and pride."
