A Canarsie woman underwent an amazing recovery after spending months in Brookdale Hospital Medical Center battling COVID-19.
She was finally released Monday.
Tanzania Martin, 30, went to the hospital on April 7th, her birthday. She spent 96 days in the hospital on a ventilator.
Martin, a diabetic, suffered complete kidney failure at one point.
The family plans continue to help Martin heal and nurse her back to health.
