Anyone planning on booking an Airbnb for New Year’s Eve should take note of some new restrictions in place.

Airbnb is tightening its policy restrictions on parties, adding “anti-party” restrictions to some three-night rentals for guests without a history of positive reviews on the platform.

Guests without a history of positive reviews on Airbnb can't make one-night, two-night, and now three-night reservations for an entire house that "may pose heightened risks for unauthorized parties."

Guests on the platform who have a history of positive reviews won't be subject to the restrictions.
