7h agoOne person was killed in a horrific crash in Orange County Wednesday night.
Police say it was around 4 p.m. when Eileen Habesland, 44, from Buffalo, collided with another driver on Route 17K in Montgomery near Winding Hills.
Photos from the scene show a silver car completely destroyed and an overturned yellow car torn in half.
Police believe one of the cars crossed over the double yellow line and sideswiped the other coming in the opposite direction, leading to Habesland's death.
News 12 is told the other driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time.
