All Hallows High School baseball players took on Fordham Prep Monday in a test of the team's relatively new status in the A Division.
The Gaels struggled a bit, but managed to tie the game at two in the fifth inning. The Gaels later took a one-run lead when Raymond Frias came in to score. That lead held up until the bottom of the seventh inning when Fordham Prep?s T.J. Mangan got an RBI single, tying the game at three. The Rams eventually pulled out a 4-3 win.
The Gaels moved up to the Catholic League's A Division this year after wrapping up the 2006 season as the B Division champs.
