An Allerton woman has been arrested in connection to the death of her newborn baby that took place this past September.
According to police, Lasasha Gouldbourne is now charged with manslaughter.
They say that back in September, Gouldbourne allegedly gave her mother a bag of clothes - but it had a newborn inside.
The mother discovered the newborn girl in the bag and called EMS. The newborn was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say Gouldbourne, the mother of that dead newborn girl, was pregnant with twins and gave birth to a baby boy at the hospital as well. Gouldbourne was later declared by law enforcement to be an emotionally disturbed person.
There is no set court date for Gouldbourne at this time.
