One man is dead and another injured after a shooting in Brooklyn, police confirmed.

The incident happened Monday near Avenue N and Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie around 11 p.m.

Akeem Booker, 28, of Queens, was fatally shot and a 53-year-old man was shot twice and injured. 

Police say no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
