A local park is celebrating Black History Month through art in an event that is free to the public.

Some of the best African-American artists will be exhibiting their work at the Poe Park Recreation Center in Fordham.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until Feb. 23.
