Actor Alec Baldwin is fighting a planned aquarium in his old hometown mall.

A company called SeaQuest Holdings wants to put an aquarium inside the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.       

Baldwin, who grew up in Massapequa, is urging the Oyster Bay Town Board to deny a special-use permit for the facility.

News 12 was told that he’s worried about the treatment of the animals.
