Army Corp of Engineers awards $50M to boost hospital capacity at Stony Brook

The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded $50 million to treat more people at Stony Brook University Hospital.
The move is a part of a joint federal-local effort to increase the number of hospital beds, reduce the strain of the outbreak on medical facilities.
Construction is expected to be completed by April 18.
