A teen is facing charges after allegedly vandalizing a playground dedicated to late Sandy Hook School principal Dawn Hochsprung.

Watertown police say the vandalism committed in February contained a distinctive marking which investigators were able to link to the teen.

Authorities say they do not believe the playground was specifically targeted and similar vandalism was found in other locations around the town.
