Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson joined with the Garifuna Coalition USA to host the 15th Annual Garifuna Heritage Month celebration.

The celebration took place Thursday at the historic Bronx County Building's rotunda.

The ceremony issued a proclamation announcing that from March 11 to April 2 is Garifuna Heritage Month.
