Two people were struck by a car in Williamsbridge on Wednesday.

The driver involved told News 12 it happened early Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Boston Road and Pelham Parkaway North.

The driver said the people he hit were not in a crosswalk, something he says is common in the area.

As for the victims, officials have not released information about their conditions.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation about the crosswalk issued in that area and have not heard back yet.
