Cellphone video captured a car on fire Thursday night on Bruckner Boulevard and White Plains Road.

Flames can be seen engulfing the car as smoke rises on the side of the road.

Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the fire was placed under control.

There is no word yet on what may have sparked it.
