The city’s Department of Education has released the adjustments to be made to its COVID-19 protocols, and many educators and parents aren’t happy with it.
“I worry that they’re inadequate to protect our children,” said one concerned parent.
The new guidelines from the DOE show that students no longer need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 but that teachers, visitors and staff still do.
There was no mention of social distancing in the adjusted guidelines, a change that has some parents worried.
