E-scooters will soon be available for New Yorkers in the East Bronx.

The Department of Transportation announced that a pilot program is starting at the end of June to bring 3,000 scooters for New Yorkers to ride around town with.

The scooters are coming from Lime, Bird and Veo.

Training is required and safety measures will be enforced to keep riders, drivers and pedestrians safe.
