Crowds flocked to the New York Botanical Garden for the opening day of its Orchid Show – displaying some of the most exotic plants in the world.

The displays from each continent were created by floral designer Jeff Leatham.

This year is following a kaleidoscope theme, featuring exquisite shapes, breathtaking colors and alluring scents.

 The show runs through April 19.
