Family: Body pulled from Bronx River is man missing since February
Police say a man's body was pulled from the Bronx River at the New York Botanical Garden Saturday.
Police say they were called to the Bronx Botanical Square around 2:30 p.m. for a man in need of medical attention.
When officers arrived, they say the man was found floating face-down in the Bronx River. Police removed him from the water, and he was pronounced dead.
Family members identified the man as 43-year-old Michael Daughtrey, of Williamsbridge, who has been missing since February. News 12 spoke with the Daughtrey's mother earlier this week.
Police say there are no signs of criminality.
