Farmers market opens for the season in White Plains
In a sure sign of Spring, the much-loved outdoor Farmer's Market is back in White Plains.
The market features locally grown produce as well as fresh fruits and vegetables from farms upstate and in neighboring states like Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

You can find just about anything - plants, breads, pickles – there is quite the variety. “I think it’s really good for people to get closer to their food. There are so many wonderful small companies that have great stuff from pastries to homemade chocolate to everything made by hand and it’s terrific,” says Joelynn Welsh, of Joey’s Bakery.
People can find the market on Court Street between Main Street and Martine Avenue through Nov. 23.
It's open weekly on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
