MTA announces accessibility upgrades to Tremont Avenue subway station
The MTA announced some upgrades to the Tremont Avenue subway station Tuesday.
Commuters catching the B or D trains can now access the platform via elevator.
Three brand-new elevators and a new staircase are now open at the station for the over 4,000 commuters the MTA said uses this station.
This is the fifth station the MTA has made accessible this year and the 149th in the whole system.
