Recipes passed down through generations were on display in the Bronx Wednesday in honor of Black History Month.

The event happened at the Northeast Bronx YMCA. Kids brought in recipes that they learned from their parents, who in turn learned it from their grandparents, dating back generations.

The dishes were on display as well to give guests an idea of what they're in for.
