The city's first woman-owned marijuana dispensary will open in Jamaica, Queens Thursday.

The woman behind the shop Good Grades is Extasy James. Thanks to the state's social equity cannabis fund, she is now able to open her own shop despite her prior marijuana conviction.

Good Grades is the third legal dispensary to open in New York City but will be the first in Queens.

The shop will host its soft launch at 2 p.m. Thursday.
