Police say a 37-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car in Brooklyn.

The NYPD says it happened at the intersection of Second Avenue and Ninth Street around 7:20 a.m. Officials say the victim might have been riding a bicycle at the time.

The driver remained on the scene.

It's unclear if any arrests have been made.
