A man is wanted in connection to a violent robbery against a woman on Feb. 8 in the Bronx.

Police say a 19-year-old woman was walking when a man followed her into a building near West 164th Street and Woodycrest Avenue.

The suspect followed the woman into the elevator and demanded she take off her pants. According to the NYPD, the man then forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone and punched her in the head.

The victim started screaming for help, and when the elevator reached the sixth floor, the suspect threw the victim’s cellphone into the hallway and fled the location.

The woman was treated on the scene for minor injuries to the head.

The whereabouts of the suspect are currently unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
