Mermaids and mermen will hopefully march through Coney Island this year for the 39th annual Mermaid Parade.

The last time the parade took place was in 2019.

The man behind the event, Dick Zigun, reportedly told Brooklyn Paper that organizers hope to hold the parade in late summer or early fall.

The popular arts festival went virtual in 2020.
