East Avenue in Norwalk reopened in both directions earlier today after a car crashed into a utility pole, police say. 

The crash happened Monday night on East Avenue near Rite Aid pharmacy.

Frontier Communications was on scene making repairs. 

Police say there are no serious injuries.
