Police say two people were injured in a shooting in Highbridge Tuesday afternoon.

The victims were shot while standing inside a discount tobacco store at 950 Anderson Ave. at around noon.

Police say one victim, a 23-year-old man, was shot in the leg. They say the other victim, a 29-year-old man, suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and arm.

The men were taken to Lincoln Hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
