Police say a 20-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his back in Mott Haven.

They say the victim was involved in a fight with another person prior to the shooting. He was sent to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he is now in stable condition.

Police say that the suspect is still on the loose.
