Police are searching for three suspects who assaulted a man Friday night on the Yankee Stadium subway platform.

News 12 was told a 23-year-old man was riding an uptown D Train that was approaching the 161st Street Yankee Stadium station when the suspects snatched his phone out of his hand. 

Police say the victim tried to stop them but they began punching him multiple times before running off empty handed.
