A man was fatally shot Thursday night in Fordham, police say.

News 12 is told authorities responded to the scene on Grand Concourse and Field Place just before 10 p.m.

Police found Richard Cepeda, 31, with a gunshot wound to the torso, News 12 is told.

EMS rushed Cepeda to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
