Police: 62-year-old shot inside East New York deli during argument with another man

Police say a man was shot inside an East New York deli Wednesday night.It happened around 7:40 p.m. inside a deli at 559 New Lots Ave., police say.
Investigators believe a 62-year-old man got into a fight with another person inside the deli. That is when the person shot him once in the chest and once in the hand before fleeing.
The 62-year-old was rushed to the hospital where News 12 is told he is in stable condition.
The shooter is still at large.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
