A hit-and-run in Soundview sent one man to the hospital, authorities say.

Dash cam footage of the incident shows a vehicle making a swift lane merge to the right, taking off around a school bus and hitting the victim as he attempted to cross the street at Story and Morrison avenues.

Authorities say the victim was treated inside an ambulance at the scene before being transported to the hospital.

The identity and condition of the victim has yet to be released by authorities.
