Prosecutor: 3 men restrained, repeatedly raped woman they met at bar
Three men are facing charges and are accused of sexually assaulting a woman they met at a bar.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that the incident happened on April 2. They say that Andrew Gallucci, Richard Gathy and Ronald Hondo, each 24 years old, met the victim at a bar in Marlboro Township.
Investigators say they took the woman back to Gallucci’s home, where they restrained her against her will in a bedroom and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
The three men were arrested on April 8.
“This was a disturbingly coordinated and predatory attack,” Acting Prosecutor Lori Linskey said in a statement. “We commend the courage of the victim in coming forward to report what happened to her, and we look forward to bringing those responsible to justice.”
Each man was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and third-degree criminal restraint.
