Protesters gathered at Ewen Park in Riverdale to address the death of George Floyd.

The group plans to march toward Van Cortlandt Park and have a peaceful sit-in demonstration.

"Today my message is to make sure that everyone knows that black lives matter," says Margarite Mills.

The protest is expected to be peaceful but there is still a police presence.
